I've been in technical theater for about 20 years, I am currently a technical director and ETCP Certified Rigger. I work primarily in higher education, but I am willing to travel within the USA for theatrical rigging contracts, as long as they work around the schedule of my day job.

Currently, I am the Technical Director and Production Manager at the University of Nebraska - Lincoln.   I oversee the technical aspects of the theatrical productions for Theatre Department in the Johnny Carson School of Theatre and Film, supervise Graduate Student Technical Directors, and liaise with the Nebraska Repertory Theatre as Production Manager. I also teach various undergraduate and graduate courses in the Design/Tech Area for the school's theatre degrees.  In addition to my educational responsibilities, I consult as the Head Rigger for Valley Entertainment in the Boise, Idaho area. I have also worked as the Technical Director and Production Manager at Weber State University, as an Assistant Professor and Technical Director for Saint Louis University, and as a Set Designer, theatrical draftsman, technician, and Assistant Technical Director for the Utah Festival Opera & Musical Theatre Company in Logan, Utah. I was the Technical Director for the McLeod Summer Playhouse in Carbondale, Illinois, and I was also a professional sound designer for theater in the St. Louis, Missouri area.
